Summit Details

WHO ARE WE?  We are a dynamic group of progressive Georgians – individuals and organizational representatives, reflecting a wide variety of backgrounds, experience and expertise – learning, planning and mobilizing toward a better future for our state.

WHAT IS THE GEORGIA PROGRESSIVE SUMMIT?  During the first summit (GPS 2006) in January 2006, individuals from 26 organizations gathered for a weekend of workshops and action planning. In January 2007, approximately 300 people from 60 organizations came together and participated in a full schedule of interactive workshops, plenary sessions and action planning at second annual Georgia Progressive Summit (GPS 2007). Detailed information on both GPS 2006 and GPS 2007 is available in our GPS Archives.

WHAT WE'RE DOING!  For GPS 2008, we are committed to reaching out to even more progressive individuals and organizations throughout the state of Georgia, and to expanding and diversifying our program. If you participated in GPS 2007 and/or GPS 2006,  please plan to join us again in 2008.  If you are new to the Georgia Progressive Summit, sign up now!
